This cab ride was filmed from the cab of EWS Class 37 264 with reporting number OZ63.


The service from the yard at Wembley was bound for Bristol where we terminate at the Barton Hill Depot.


Once out of the EWS yard at Wembley, we pass under the West Coast Main Line and up to Acton Main Line where we join the GWR main line.


We take the down slow line as far as Reading and then progress to the Berks & Hants route through Newbury and on to Westbury.


After reversing at Westbury, the service passing through Bradford-on-Avon and Bath and into the East Carriage Sidings to allow an HST to go through. A move into Bristol Temple Meads follows where we see the Pullman carriages on a charter. We then move onto the Barton Hill Depot where our training service ends.

A route learning train by North London Railways and filmed from the cab of No. 313003 using both AC and DC power.


We depart from Willesden High Level Station at 14.57 for Mitre Bridge Junction and join the branch from the West Coast Main

Line passing the North Pole Maintenance Depot on the left.


At North Pole Junction the pantograph is lowered and power is now from the third rail system of 750V DC.


After crossing Battersea Bridge we have to wait at signals for the Royal Train to pass hauled by Class 47s 47799 "Prince Harry" and 47798 "Prince William".


We can now proceed to Clapham Junction. Departing Clapham Junction at 15.27, the train returns to Willesden via the same route. The Royal Train was passed at Kensington, this time our service had priority!
